Audinate is looking for an Installed Sound Sales Manager based in the USA (ideally California). We are seeking an experienced candidate who will be responsible for ensuring that Dante media networking technology is specified and installed to the maximum extent possible in sound installations in the agreed US territories. The position requires a good knowledge of the installed sound and pro-audio fields and their various sales channels. This position will focus on solution selling across a broad section of influencers. The ideal candidate will have in their past experience developed professional relationships with consultants and contractors and will draw upon this experience in order to drive commercial adoption of Dante enabled solutions. The role reports to the EVP of Sales and Marketing.
In collaboration with the EVP of Sales and Marketing, define a sales plan that encompasses territories, sectors, verticals and targets
Work directly with audio consultants, design/build installers, contractors and other influencers in the Installed Sound market to generate sales of ensure that Audinate.s Dante enabled technology is specified in RFPs to the maximum extent possible
Work with licensees. independent manufacturers. representatives to educate them on Audinate.s technology offerings and influence their activities to maximize sales of Dante-enabled products in their territories
Undertake sales calls
Provide senior sales leadership to ensure global sales objectives
Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of our products and their applications
Interact with audio consultants, installers and licensees representatives to showcase and expand brand awareness and build demand for Dante-enabled products
Represent the product to customers and end users at events such as conferences, trade shows and seminars
Analyze the Installed Sound market segment and identify recognized and unrecognized customer needs
Prepare monthly sales reports and update sales funnel
Develop and deliver product demonstrations
Remain current on industry trends, market activities, competitors, and customer requirements
Develop brand loyalty and mutual trust with business partners
Work closely with Manufacturers Reps to assist them in closing sales of Dante-enabled products
Essential
3-5+ years relevant experience in vendor sales in the Installed Sound market, with demonstrated track record of growing sales
Demonstrable success at selling into a multi-tiered channel
Familiarity with the live/installed sound market including practices, procedures, emerging technologies and customer environments
Experience in solution and/or strategic selling methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Experience with a broad range of pro audio equipment
Able to travel throughout sales territory
Must be goal-oriented and results driven

Audinate is looking for a USA (ideally California) based Technical Solutions Engineer experienced in high-level technical pre- and post-sales engineering support. You will be responsible for ensuring that Dante media networking technology is understood by all relevant external stakeholders. By working closely with equipment manufacturers, you will understand their plans and assist them with the high level design of products which incorporate Dante networking. This highly visible role involves owning all aspects of the technical side of a multi-faceted sales and support cycle, to reduce time-to-market for products incorporating Dante networking. The ideal candidate will be a computer networking expert, have a strong and broad technical background in hardware and software, commercial experience in a technology pre-sales or similar related role, and have an understanding of the audio market.
The role reports to the EVP of Sales and Marketing.
Understand the needs of licensee prospects in order to propose effective technical solutions involving Dante
Develop and maintain an in-depth expertise on our technology, products and their applications, and use it to establish deep technical credibility with audio and video equipment manufacturers who are Dante licensees and prospects
Work closely with licensee manufacturers to understand their plans and roadmaps and assist them with the high level design of products incorporating Dante networking
Work directly with our customers to resolve technical issues and ensure the timely adoption and smooth integration of Dante technology into their products
Respond to RFP documents, provide proof-of-concept development, and develop user group presentations
Work alongside the Audinate sales team to develop demonstrations that present solutions effectively and professionally
Provide occasional assistance to the sales team as required working with audio consultants, contractors, touring sound companies, and licensees. manufacturers representatives
Represent the product to customers and end-users at events such as conferences, trade shows, and seminars
Report directly to the EVP of Sales and Marketing as part of a sales and marketing team
Work with the Chief Technology Officer and liaise closely with the product and engineering teams to deliver solutions to customers
Write occasional technical articles for trade magazines to reinforce technical marketing messages

Essential
5-7+ years relevant experience in technical product development and support, ideally in the professional or consumer audio markets
In-depth knowledge of internet technologies and protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, DNS and DHCP
Embedded systems and systems integration expertise
Able to establish strong technical credibility with customer.s design engineers
A passion for technology, and an ability to communicate that passion
