Starfish Ventures is an Australian owned venture capital fund manager, seeking superior returns through active investment in innovative technology companies. Starfish Ventures understands the challenges of seeding, building and managing high growth technology businesses from an Australian base.

Starfish Ventures manages the Starfish Pre-Seed Fund and the Starfish Technology Fund that actively seek new investments in innovative Australian companies. Typically these investments will be in companies that address a global opportunity by leveraging novel technology to create a new market or supply new products and services to an existing market. NIPR is a subsidiary company of National ICT Australia (NICTA), set up to manage its intellectual property and investments into viable spin-out opportunities. NICTA is a national research institute with a charter to build Australia's pre-eminent Centre of Excellence for information and communications technology (ICT).
