Industry events showcasing Dante audio networking <see all>
Audinate, the market leader in digital media networking for the A/V, conferencing, public address, and broadcast industries, today announced an update to Dante Controller, the free, award-winning tool used to configure and manage Dante audio networks.
The flexible SSL Network I/O: SDI was recently selected as the core component for broadcasting the 66th FIFA World Congress in Mexico City. Consulting company Evident Productions chose the SSL Network I/O: SDI for its versatility in embedding, de-embedding, and distribution--and it utilizes a Dante Audio-Over-IP network as the source. The project required significant system improvements for the FIFA Congress itself, and involved the challenge of providing the feeds to over 20 international broadcast networks covering the event.
Audio-Technica has bridged the gap between audio and IT with the first wired microphones that transmit audio and control data together over the Dante network protocol. A simple Ethernet connection allows the Network Microphone to communicate across an existing network of Dante-enabled devices and, with the mic’s integrated, programmable user switch, control any of those devices at the push of a button.
