Audinate, creator of the industry-leading media networking solution Dante, has announced the opening of a new Asia-Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong. The office will provide business development, technical sales and customer support in the greater Asia Pacific region.
Since opening its doors for the first time in 2011, the Chill Skybar has become one of the most popular leisure destinations in Vietnam’s largest city. But a persistent issue with noise spillage meant that its audio specification was ultimately deemed to be inadequate – hence the decision to enlist locally-based AV firm DesignLive Technologies to undertake an upgrade.
The new CDN64 Dante bridge card provides third-party Dante enabled digital audio products the ability to connect and interface with Q-Sys while maintaining low latency. It provides a bridge for 32x32 channels at 48 kHz (16x16 channels at 96 kHz) from any Dante edge network, directly into a QSC Q-Sys Core for advanced processing and re-distribution over larger LAN and WAN IT infrastructures. The CDN64 Dante bridge card is slated for availability in late Spring 2014.
