Audinate, creator of the industry-leading Dante™ media networking technology, will roll out a new format for the sixth annual Dante AV Networking World education event during InfoComm 2016. The workshop, to be held on June 7th at the Treasure Island hotel in Las Vegas, will feature in-depth training with two separate tracks: one for attendees that are new to Dante, and another for more experienced Dante users. Audinate will also introduce its new Dante certification program at the event.
The Ministry of Sound London has streamlined its Harman tools and distribution network, including an upgrade to the Soundcraft Vi3000 and Realtime Rack plug-in engine, supplied by Sound Technology.
Standard Broadcast Specification MADI to IP Audio Network Interface
The SSL Network I/O: MADI-Bridge is a broadcast specification bridge between the industry standard MADI audio format and IP audio networks using Dante.
MADI-Bridge can carry up to 64 channels per Bridge (@ 48kHz). Redundant PSU, MADI ports and IP Network ports mean the Bridge is built for uninterrupted operation. In addition to the inbuilt clock redundancy options in Dante controller, the MADI-Bridge also includes a pair of redundant sync inputs for use with black and burst video, tri-level and word clock sync sources. A front panel headphone socket (with rotary level control) provides inbuilt headphone monitor routing, to replace traditional patch bay fault finding functionality with equivalents in the IP Audio domain. 32bit MADI control tunnelling allows a pair of MADI-Bridges to be used to pass audio and user bits of a whole MADI stream across a network.
