Dante Domain Manager Technical Training - Buena Park, CA

Dante Domain Manager Technical Training will provide those attending the necessary instruction for the implementation of DDM on a Dante network.  This class will cover the fundamentals of DDM, defining a Dante domain, system deployment, and DDM system requirements, single and multiple-subnets systems, DNS Servers, static IP addresses, browser interface fundamentals, enrolling Dante devices, clocking, user roles, Dante controller interaction, inter-domain audio, legacy devices, system logs, network and security settings, external services -  LDAP/Active directory and SNMP setup.

This class is designed for those who are (or are about to be) active resellers or users of Dante Domain Manager.  Attendees might be an audio engineer, system designer or consultant from a variety of audio disciplines like live sound, recording, broadcast or corporate AV.

The goal of the half day class is to give those attending a understanding of how DDM is a complete audio and video network tool. This is a advanced class, so we require Dante Level I, Level II and a commitment for the completion of Level III before attending.

Who Should Come

  • Participants likely an audio engineer, system designer or consultant
  • Participants have a understanding of a Dante network and are anticipating a project where they will utilize DDM.
  • Participants should be comfortable setting up a home network.
  • Participants should be  comfortable working on a Mac and/or PC computer.
  • Participants should be Dante Level I and Level II Certified before attending.

  • A laptop with Dante Controller installed.
  • You should have an account at Audinate.com (and know your log-in credentials)

Prerequisites
