Audinate just completed its fiscal year, and we want to thank all of our partners and end customers for your patronage and support. This past year’s growth has validated that Dante is the new standard for high quality, low latency A/V streaming. The adoption of Dante is accelerating at a phenomenal rate. During the past 12 months we grew from 50 OEMs to nearly 100 OEMs.
Dante gives our customers so many choices, with more partners, more products and more switches. No specialized IT switches are required.
While there are already approximately a 150 Dante products announced by OEM partners, well over 200 additional new products already are in the development pipeline. During the past quarter, Dante products were announced by Allen & Heath, Atlas Sound, Atterotech, Bose, BSS Audio, EAW, EV, IED, Lectrosonics, RTS Intercom Systems, , Shure, Symetrix, Sound Devices, Stewart Audio, Soundcraft and Yamaha.
If you have been following the buzz in the industry, it is becoming obvious that Audinate’s Dante™ media networking solution is becoming the dominant AV networking solution. In the past few years we have grown so that we now have approximately 65 OEM manufacturers who have licensed Dante. There are numerous partner products available to create a large Dante AV ecosystem. A recent industry poll shows Dante is the number one specified networking solution by 2:1 over any alternate networking protocol. But the reason so many companies have adopted Dante is that it is much more than just a network protocol, it is a comprehensive networking solution. Dante products deliver the promise of interoperability plus the simplification of ease of use today.
Dante’s Got You Covered! While it has been only three months since our last newsletter, Dante has been mushrooming into several new products.. At Pro Light and Sound in Frankfurt, eight of our OEM Partners launched, or announced 11 new Dante products. The adoption of new Dante enabled networked products continued to flourish at InfoComm 2012. One of the major announcements at the InfoComm conference was Shure’s launch of the ULXD 4D Dual- and Quad Channel Digital Wireless Receiver, the first Dante enable networkable wireless receiver. The Shure ULXD was a big success at the show, winning a Best of Show Award.
Audinate revolutionizes the way that AV systems are connected. We do this by transporting high quality media over standard IT networks. Our vision is creating a simple easy to use, connected AV world with Dante. Audinate now has over 50 OEMs who have licensed Dante. More products are coming to market at a faster pace, as our OEM partners recognize the end user demand and adoption of Dante. During this months‘Pro Light and Sound conference, we shall see over 10 new Dante enabled products announced to the market. A significant part of the OEM adoptions centers around the fact that consumers and AV OEMs want a solution that works today, using off the shelf switches, and also want a future path to AVB, while maintaining all the features and functionality Dante delivers.
