Audinates Dante Wins Three Readers Choice Awards

Dante™ Digital Media Networking Technology wins for second year in a row

Portland, OR. Feb 17, 2012– For the second year in a row, Audinate’s patented Dante digital media networking technology has been recognized by the readers of Live Sound International magazine and prosoundweb.com as best Networking Technology with their Dante-MY16-AUD.

Audinate also picked up a Reader’s Choice Award for Live Recording Software with its Dante Virtual Soundcard. The Dante Virtual Soundcard software allows your PC/Mac to connect to a Dante audio network. Dante Virtual Soundcard uses the Ethernet port on the computer to communicate with a network of other Dante enabled devices. No special hardware is required other than installing Dante Virtual Soundcard on a conventional PC or laptop.

And if two awards weren’t enough, one of Audinate’s OEM partners, Link, received the Readers’ Choice Award in the category of Interconnect Products with its DGlink 48×16 Dante Stage Box System. The DGlink provides the transport and distribution of analog and digital audio while facilitating additional communications control, and monitoring signals. The DGlink architecture is modular so it can be configured to best suit current needs and still be extensible for the future. DGlink leverages Link’s hybrid cables and connectors to provide a single touring grade cable and connection point between the front of house and the stage deck.
