Dante Firmware Update Manager v3.10.2.4 (Windows)

Dante Firmware Update Manager is a software application that allows you to:

  • Select a firmware update file for a particular Dante module type
  • Discover matching Dante-enabled audio devices on your network
  • Manage the firmware upgrade for these devices
  • Restore Dante-enabled modules in failsafe mode

Installing or Updating Firmware Update Manager

To install Firmware Update Manager you will need to be logged on with administrator privileges.

Note: You do not need to uninstall the previous version before installing this version.

  1. Ensure you are logged on to your computer as an administrator.
  2. Navigate to and double-click the downloaded installer file.
  3. Read the license agreement. If you agree to the terms, select the 'I agree' checkbox and click Install.
  4. If you do not agree to the terms, click Close.
  5. Confirm / acknowledge any Windows security prompts that are displayed.

Bug Fixes: 
  • EMB-2595: Fixed a bug that caused Dante-MY16-AUD cards to enter failsafe when upgrading from v3.4.0 to v3.10.1.2.
  • FUM-87: Fixed a bug that caused the wrong update file to be applied for multi-model update files when 'Override device matching' is selected.
  • FUM-89: Firmware Update Manager v3.10.1.2 for Windows cannot restore Dante-MY16-AUD2 devices from failsafe. 
  • FUM-120: Misnamed Ultimo x4 / x2 restore images.
Known Issues: 
  • FUM-92: Firmware Update Manager v3.10.1.2 cannot restore all devices in a heterogeneous mix of Ultimo-class devices in failsafe. Workaround: Connect & restore Ultimo devices individually.
  • #7993 - Installing Firmware Update Manager while DVS is running can cause DVS audio dropouts.
  • #7996 - Restoring devices from failsafe while DVS is running can cause DVS audio dropouts.
