Symetrix - SymNet Radius AEC

Radius AEC is an open architecture audio DSP conferencing solution with the optimum number of audio inputs and outputs for small to medium sized rooms. For large conference venues, multiple units are networked using the Dante protocol. Radius AEC adapts to specific installation requirements with an expansion card slot for adding a SymNet Modular I/O card, such as the 2 Line Analog Telephone Interface. Support for an array of user control options makes it easy for contractors to satisfy their customers. Low latency and lightning fast AEC convergence deliver superior intelligibility for more effective communications.

Case Studies

The University of Sydney breaks new ground with targeted, low-latency audio distribution in the Charles Perkins Centre's "X-lab," a 40x20 meter space that seats up to 240 students across eight distinct classes. Designated as a “wet lab”, the facility provides students of scientific and medical courses a state-of-the-art research laboratory for teaching pharmacology, physiology, immunology, pharmacy, microbiology, veterinary science, and pathology.
