Dante Certification Program
The Dante Certification program provides an easy way for system designers, engineers and others in the industry to learn about Dante with in-depth training and promote their expertise. The certification program demonstrates your Dante proficiency to potential employers and clients. The certification program currently has three levels, but the goal is to add specializations by industry role in the future.
"Second Edition" Dante Certification
Over the last five years, Dante Certifications have become recognized as valued, essential knowledge in the AV industry. Audinate is updating the certification program to include evolving industry trends as well as new Dante features that have come about after the program’s inception. Whether you are taking the class for the first time, or looking for a quick refresher, the new Level 1 & 2 "Second Edition" can help many in our industry strengthen their skills.

Dante Certification Level 1 - Introduction to Dante
RU Credits: 2.0 CTS, Domain A
Level 1 certification tests proficiency of basic Dante audio networking concepts, and covers audio networking fundamentals, basic networking concepts, creating a small-scale Dante network, and using Dante Controller and Dante Virtual Soundcard.
To get certified for Level 1, you must complete the Level 1 course & exam at audinate.com/certify, which includes a one-hour video course. (Note: If you attend an in-person Level 1 Dante training course, you may skip to the exam.)

1. Log in to the online training site at audinate.com/certify using your audinate.com account.
Dante Certification Level 2 - Intermediate Dante Concepts
RU Credits: 2.0 CTS, Domains A & B or 2.0 CTS-D, Domain A
Level 2 Certification tests proficiency of intermediate Dante audio networking concepts, including Dante redundancy, clocking, latency and multicast.
To get certified for Level 2, you must complete the entire Level 2 course, exam and skills test at audinate.com/certify (Note: If you attend an in-person Level 2 Dante training course, you may skip to the exam and skills test)
How to Enroll in Level 2 Course Online (English Language)
1. Complete Dante Certification Level 1.
Dante Certification Level 3 - Advanced Dante Concepts
RU Credits: 4.0 CTS or CTS-D
Level 3 certification is geared towards those who have already been using Dante, are are looking to create more advanced systems.
To get certified for Level 3 you must complete the entire Level 3 course and exam at audinate.com/certify. (Note: If you attend an in-person Level 3 Dante training course, you may skip to the exam.)
How to Enroll in Level 3 Course Online (English Language)
1. Complete Dante Certification Level 1, Dante Level 2 Part A: Knowledge Test (DC1042) AND Dante Level 2 Part B: Skills Test (ONLINE VERSION) (DCX27).
Dante AV (Elective)
RU Credits: None
During this 34-minute on-demand training session, we explain some key features of the Dante AV platform. Find out how Dante AV streamlines installation, setup and use of AV systems, taming common problems and enabling customers to accomplish more with lower costs and less frustration. We also show a Dante AV system in action, demonstrating the operation, capability and performance of the system.
This video explains the Dante AV solution from the ground up, and is designed for all experience levels. There are no prerequisites to this class.
