The Penta 721 is a compact 1U digital audio interface designed for standalone use in recording studios, radio stations and stage venues. It has the same basic input/output configuration as the 720 (eight channel AES3 input/output channels, MADI, two Dante IP Audio Ethernet in/outs and an Avid Pro Tools interface). The Penta 721 includes a mini module slot, which can house an optional 2xSFP MADI/HL I/O optical interface or multi mode MADI I/O optical interface.

Audinate is leading the way networks are connected by transporting high-quality media over standard IT networks. Its Dante products deliver a no-hassle, self-configuring, true plug-and-play digital audio network that uses standard Internet Protocols.

“NTP is bringing their years of experience of manufacturing high quality audio products.” remarks David Myers, COO of Audinate.  “NTP has a large base of customers in both Broadcast and recording studio production who recognize the quality that their product brand deliver and we are pleased to see Dante gaining so much traction in the studio production industry.”

The Penta 720 and 721 will be exhibited at IBC on stand 8.B51 by NTP Technologies.
