Audinate Group Limited (ASX: AD8), developer of the industry-leading Dante® media networking platform, today announced the appointment of TJ Adams to the newly-created position of Chief Platform Officer. Adams is an acknowledged AV industry leader who joins Audinate from QSC, where he was Senior Vice President, Q-SYS Product Strategy and was instrumental in the development of the Q-SYS platform. He previously held engineering, sales and product management roles at Biamp and SITA (formerly Com-Net Software).

In his new role, Adams will lead Audinate’s platform strategy to deliver an interoperable audio, video, control and management platform. Building on an established and strong foundation across the millions of Dante-enabled devices in the field, Adams will lead Audinate’s initiatives to deliver cohesive platform software, products and service offerings for designers, integrators and users of AV systems across a wide spectrum of vertical markets & applications. He will report to Nick Peace, Chief Strategy Officer, and will operate from the United States.

Professional Bio

Prior to joining Audinate, TJ Adams held product management and engineering roles at SITA, where he and pioneering developers created groundbreaking first-generation software and networked-based AV products. These solutions were architected as enterprise IT software platforms, leveraging airport operational data and networked audio, video, and control processing. Later in his career, he held senior roles in product management at Biamp Systems. He joined QSC in 2013 and was the Senior Vice President of Product Strategy and Management for Q-SYS, where he joined the founding developers of Q-SYS, and created the long-term strategic vision and roadmap for the Q-SYS Platform and Ecosystem.

TJ’s professional background is in audio and video system engineering, network engineering and product management with expertise in market-driven product and technology strategy and product lifecycle management. With a deep background in AV and IT system design, software integration, and network engineering, TJ has a track record of successfully leading complex projects, including AV and IT integration for airports, convention centers, and enterprise audio conferencing systems.
