Appsys ProAudio – multiverter MVR-64

Multi-format converter – converts and splits between ADAT, MADI optical, MADI coaxial, MADI-TP, AES50 and Dante – all in a 1U unit! Includes an headphones amplifier, redundant power supply and many other nice tools. Currently under development are break-out boxes to support even more protocols (AES3, AVB, Waves Soundgrid), as well as an integrated, high-quality, bi-directional ASRC module.

The MVR-64 multiverter is a versatile digital audio router/bridge, capable of translating in any direction between many digital audio formats:

– MADI optical
– MADI coaxial
– MADI-TP
– AES50
– Dante
The device features matrix-style any-to-any conversion with unmatched flexibility, including arbitrary channel-wise routing between all interfaces. Full 64×64 channels are supported at 48kHz (with 32×32@96kHz and 16×16@192kHz). The integrated headphone preamp allows you to monitor any incoming signal, while the integrated test tone generator helps you troubleshooting even the most complex setups. Twelve preset memories let you store or recall your desired setup in no time, and thanks to the triple-redundant power supply (2x mains plus battery backup) continuous operation is provided at anytime in harsh environments.

In the future even more protocols will be supported via break-out boxes (AES3, AVB, Waves Soundgrid), as well as an integrated, high-quality, bi-directional ASRC module.
