Studio Technologies – Model 354 Talk Station

The Model 354 Talk Station is a compact, tabletop unit that supports four channels of talk and listen for implementing voice paging, intercom, talent cue (IFB), and general audio applications that utilize Dante® audio-over-Ethernet. The unit supports the Studio Technologies’ GME-3-12 Gooseneck Microphone using a 3-conductor 1/4-inch jack. Two standard 16-bit PCM monaural WAV audio files can be stored and played by the Model 354. Each file can serve as a preamble to voice audio activation or as a stand-alone message. The 100BASE-TX (100 Mb/s) Ethernet interface, accessed using an RJ45 jack, is used to provide both data and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) power. The unit’s Dante interface supports four transmitter (output) and four receiver (input) digital audio channels. An analog monitor output allows direct connection to an amplified loudspeaker. The STcontroller software application is used for configuring the Model 354’s wide range of operating capabilities.
