In November 2020, Apple announced both the release of new Mac computers that employ Apple Silicon (M1), replacing the x86 (Intel) processors used in older models.
The latest update to the Dante Controller (v188.8.131.52) formally supports Apple Silicon via Rosetta on macOS 11.x and 12.x. Dante Controller is natively supported on Intel-based Macs running macOS 10.14 and higher.
Dante Virtual Soundcard v4.1.x and Dante Via v1.3.x are supported on Intel-based Macs running macOS 11.x and 12.x
Dante Virtual Soundcard v4.2.x for Mac (Apple Silicon) is supported on all Apple Silicon based Macs running macOS 11.x and 12.x.
